A sloth trying his best to blend in. Writes mostly to escape the hard times he faced in the strange human world. With his weird attachment to pain and suffering, he explores the literary world by the guidance of contemporary writers and dead poets. His long-term plans includes; get filthy rich, marry his human lover, and publish a book by his real sloth name before the age of 40, which is quite old for a sloth.
"Art is boundless; it could take on any form. Don't limit your perception of art to writing only."
Shauqi Shiro is a contemporary writer who views art as a tool for sending a message. He is very into many different forms of art including music, writing, dancing, etc. A very enthusiastic writer who loves to write about fantasy and supernatural elements. His aim? To revolutionize the Literature in Malaysia. Many Malaysians are enlightened and fed with crappy poems and cliche'd motive, so he wanted to change it in order for people to be more creative, open minded and retrospective in their way of thinking by using English as the main medium instead of Malay.
Once a bright student of sciences denied by the "system" as he gave up seeing himself as a future medical doctor. As he lost faith in everything, Zicko Adanan started to drift away and followed where the "path" took him as he began to venture into what he loves the most; language and arts. This is where his pulse started beating again, surrounded by people with the same passion, we dream of a better future, our "future". Considering himself as more of a thinker, an introvert, and a pessimist, he believes in the power and influence of art towards the way people think and perceive the world.
Mr. Hogwash is a young educator looking to revolutionize his
people one student at a time. When he gets into his writing mood, he is
often critical and verbose. Satire would be his favourite way of trying to get
to the issue, because everything works when everyone can laugh about it,
righttttt? Often he writes so that his readers must (and I repeat, MUST) think.
Without thinking, then all you get from his work is, for lack of a better word,
hogwash. But don’t let his surname fool you. Though it literally means
nonsense, if you take it at face value, then yeah, you don’t get satire don’t
you? You must be fun at parties. Anyway, enjoy and hopefully, be enlightened!

Living up to his optimistic nature, this self-professed freedom writer believes that literature can change the world. Citing Pramoedya Ananta Toer as one of his influences, Asjad Zulkefli dreams of a better Malaysia. Also an aficionado of ideology and philosophy, he subscribes to the theory of Enlightenment promoted by John Locke, Voltaire, Immanuel Kant, Rene Descartes and other scholars. Galvanized by Pico Della Mirandola's historic quote "Nihil Spectari Homine Admirabilius" which means "Nothing is more beautiful than mankind", Asjad Zulkefli rejects racism, xenophobia and religious discrimination at all costs. Deep inside, he sincerely hopes that one day Malaysia will be free from these negative connotations. An avid fan of football, another dream of his is to coach A.C Milan in the future.

Life's #1 fan. He is always fascinated by the wide range of stories that Life has got to offer. For him, the fact that at any point of time, 7 billion different stories are being performed with unique plots, characters, and settings for us to observe, ponder, and reflect, makes Life a masterpiece movie that everyone should spend some time to watch. So this is how he sees it from his couch.

"The ends justify the means." That is what he believes. He is pretty much influenced by Niccollo Machiavelli's political thoughts and ethics. He also thinks that man by nature is a reasoning animal as he is also occupied by Marcus Aurelius's Meditation. He is a very serious man with many skills, He writes what he feels and thinks what he sees, He value facts more than anything else. His writing are the result of his own attempt to escape from reality, or maybe sometimes its an after movie of one of the events that has occured in his life. For him, the art of writing is limitless- it got no ends, even the seven skies won't be the limit. His aim is to seek for happiness in real life and keep with him loads of it, then escape to his writing world to share all the happiness supplies he had collected.

A human trying
to shake the world, not literally shaking, but rather using language to inflict
controversial questions. Not raised in Malay surroundings, he has gone beyond
the thinking that Malays has the right to rule, he has become westernized,
questioning all those questions that are afraid to be asked. Constantly
migrating when he was a child made Shakesbo a faceless void. His voice changes
according to mood, usually in the state of denial and hatred, he writes what is
right. Seeing how Malaysia is how it is, Shakesbo is
determined to unite Malaysians, if not under one religion, but as a race, a
race that can shake the world.

His name itself suggests his true being. Always considers himself as a bogus soul who pretends on the outside and pretentious on the inside. He sees only failures and impediment but every now and then he would catch a glimpse of silver lining. A sucker for Quantin Tarantino, Stephen King, John Grisham, Roger Federer, and recently, Alejandro González Iñárritu. To him, politics/political views are nothing but greedy human producing agreeable-to-the-masses thoughts so they can have things their way (was feminism ever relevant?). He believes (and hopes) in human kindness and to him, we can always learn from anyone. "We all write songs about life, we only sing them differently". He does not write that much because his writings suck. He would feel like writing whenever he finishes a good book but they do not normally reach a decimal point or any significant point at all. Language to him, is a very very powerful tool and he respects those who use it at best and further push it to form an art (not him of course).
