Real Life Vampire

By Shauqi Shiro

I am a real life vampire
Surrounded by people of my kind.
We are not afraid of fire
But the sun can make our eyes go blind.

Waking up only during nighttime
Our way of life are not much sublime.
Some hunts their prey in the club
Some even go to the pub.

We love the chilly dark night
How we live can cause a blight.
We eat garlic, hold silver, but no sunlight!
Close the damn curtains! Or you may start a fight!

If we get chills, suck the pipe and lit the fire
That is how our kind live - a real life vampire.

Of Stolen Glances and Awkward Gestures

by E. Hellcat

Of stolen glances
and awkward gestures,
I found myself
wondering
what brought us here,
I wish nothing
but for it
to come
anytime sooner.

Now suddenly,
you sit there
quite obviously,
right in front of me.
Is it just me
you’re staring,
or is it just me
noticing
that your eyes
kept lingering,
in sync,
with what
I was thinking.

That every time
you wear black,
you remind me
of a place
I never thought
I’d come back.
Like the boxes
I left downstairs,
never to realize
I’d have to unpack.
Because I’ve forgotten
what is it like,
and how does it feel,
and why
it took
so long
to heal.

Take a shot of me
I wanna show you
my true colors,
it’s a black and white picture,
I’m monotonous.

Fabricated Hammer of Justice

By Shauqi Shiro

Dig deep,
He’ll put you to sleep.
Real truth is never known.
If it surfaces, your head is blown.
When you tell what you’ve seen,
The press will say that it’s not their sins.

It is a distorted symphony,
Orchestrated by corrupted phonies.
Saying “I dare you if u want to die”,
Eyewitness immediately decided to lie.
Your families they will slay.
All that you can do now is pray.

They do whatever they please,
Whilst supported by fabricated hammer of justice.

Mouths and Eyes

By Shauqi Shiro

I want to shine, so I can't always whine.
I need some air for these pain that I could not bear.
But where? Where can I hide from those eyes?
They're everywhere; It's in my room, it's behind the chair,
You lots only know how to compare.
All that I can do now is to sit in gloom.
But I want my flower to bloom!

I need some space, away from these familiar faces.
I want some time, I don't want to melt like a slime.
But why? Should I keep on living on this lies?
These world is superficial; none can make it real.
I know i'm original, but you lots are subliminal.
Know this - people are judgmental.
It's an everyday cycle; I think i'm going mental!

I am what i am, I don't want to lie anymore.
I want to tell the truth till your ears are sore.

The Cowering Farmer

By Shauqi Shiro

Once there was an estate lent to a farmer,
His forefathers told him to make it larger.
They said that this land should be shared together,
He thought he should get it all; he’s the owner.

He planted the seeds, while he paid no heeds.
When the seed bears fruits, he took all the loots.
He soiled the plantation, gave to his family most of the rations.
Now the estate is degrading, the soils are left with nothing.

The seeds have become sour; none wants it during this time of hour.
Bloomed with no flower; all that's left is an image of a cowering farmer.

It's The Little Things I Can't Remember

by E. Hellcat

Live the life you never regret
Don’t waste another day
Doing nothing meaningful
That it becomes a habit
To think nothing stressful.

Wake up with passion
Live the delusion of having a vision
About the days that would come
You assume would actually matter
That in the end you’ll hold on and eventually remember.

But now looking back in retrospect
It’s not always about what’s next.
Every time you walk out that door
Pass the park and through the alley,
Just as you would do daily.
Mindlessly and thoughtlessly
Making small decisions everyday
Little judgments every move
Without blinking an eye
Without seeing through the lines
Without having the thought
To ever cross in your mind
Why everybody say it to end their toast,

It’s the little things that matter the most.

The Super Scam

By Asjad Zulkefli

Is it a bird?
Is it a plane?
No, it's another scam,
forged by the super factory
located in the super country.

They say that heroes must be pretty,
That's why the ugly can never be.
but have you seen heroes in reality?
Like Malcolm, Madiba, Gandhi and your daddy?

Another scam,
another scam,
does whatever the others can,
catches crooks whom they like,
yet the filthiest still alive,
look out!
Here comes another scam.

Are we all too blind to see?
That superheroes are the shields,
for police, politicians and the authority,
you must obey, you must yield,
or another villain you will be.

Thought's Sanctuary

By Mr.B

Gone, forever gone,
One and only Love,
Detachment,

Highest pleasure,
Eternal knowledge,
lost without grace,
Pain without cure,

Miracle
Eternally gone.

Not from Heaven

By Mr.B

How to know God?
By His trace and grace,
Provides tales we embrace,
But when her face meet your face
is it still God's Grace?

Demanded servants,
Yet love sometimes are forbidden,
As Women created as a maiden,
How really men can be obedient?

Those promise He gives,
None could guess what it is,
For God is perfect,
So does men try to be exact.

Find God through His grace,
You will never be erased.

Blinded by My Own Eyes

By S. Pessimist

Deceitful is such the nature a pair of eyes.

The widest smile may hold the heaviest heart.
The loudest and carefree may drag around the darkest thoughts.
The well built and strong may shake at the slightest.
The richest may dress in destitute,
and the deemed necessitous, may well be in contentment.

Judge not, for who am I to judge?
